Clear Your Doubts

Halal Executive is only needed with any company with more than RM15m turnover

One can only be certified as “Halal Executive” when (s)he has completed the Halal Executive Training conducted by Jakim-recognised training academy. 

  1. Halal Executive Training: RM1500/pax. Duration: 10 days 
  2. Halal Awareness Training: RM200/pax. Duration: 1 day
  3. Halal Competency Training: RM200/pax. Duration: 1 day 

Remark: pls take note that all these fees are charged by the training academy that’s recognized by JAKIM, not Yen Premium Coach as the consultant. 

You may refer to the Jakim fee chart here. There’s a table clearly defining each category. 

  1. You must register your company in Malaysia 
  2. Appointing 1 Malaysian Muslim employee as the Halal Coordinator, who must also understand the production flow in oversea plant

Only 3 type of fees are involved.

  1. Consultation fee (pay to Yen)
  2. Training fee (pay to JAKIM-recognized training academy). You only need to send your staff to the training to be appointed as a Halal Executive (at the later stage) if your turnover is more than RM15m. 
  3. Jakim fee (pay to JAKIM)

Halal Certification Fee. 

  1. Documentation (main element in Halal application)

Halal has got only 3 docs to fulfil whereas HAS has got much more than that. Anyway, don’t worry about the docs. In fact, that’s the reason why you do need a consultant. Our consultant will guide you along the journey. 

HAS = Halal Assurance System

It’s something like ISO 9001 that is used to control your quality 

For those with an annual sales turnover of more than RM15m or 50 employees. 

Fee = RM10,000 + 8 % SST

Duration = Estimated 3 months 

Yes you can. If you foresee your annual sales is going to exceed RM15m the following year but not yet exceeding RM15m at the time of application, you can always develop the HAS in advance, so that your work becomes easier in the later stage. 

Yes we do. You can come back to us when you are going for 2nd year audit. 

Fee: RM3,900 + 6% SST / project

Duration: 2 days / project 

Maintenance package is inclusive of: 

a) review the readiness of the “audit documentation” for the upcoming assessment

b) assist on reflecting any changes / amendment that is necessary for documentation and process

c) advise / rectify any issue arise from previous assessment internally/externally

d) assist on conducting the internal audit

e) coordinate the audit between client & CB

f) assist on replying NC (if any) followed with the Corrective Action implementation

Upon confirmation and pay 10 days before the commencement: 

  • Stage 1: 50% of total cost
  • Stage 2: 50% of total cost
